SHANNON HARGREAVES

Shannon Hargreaves is a New Englander, filmmaker, and screenwriter. Her work is character-first and character-driven, best described as where charming meets absurdum. She has a deep appreciation for unconventional characters who, through interacting, create emotionally authentic, offbeat, yet captivating stories. 

Her storytelling includes, intentional specificity, death but funny, and seeing through a queer lens. 
Growing up in New Hampshire instilled a love for the quiet eccentricities, dry wit, and close-knit communities that often find their way into Shannon's writing. Inspired by storytellers, such as Jim Henson, who balance sincerity with the surreal, Shannon aims to create worlds where the ordinary and the absurd coexist naturally.
